PKLYN High Intermediate OR Advanced ACDMY This program will run weekly on Fridays for six weeks starting on May 22nd. NEW SIGN-UP PROCESS = MUST READ -> ALL REGISTRANTS ARE PENDING APPROVAL. PLACEMENT IS NOT FINALIZED UNTIL 1-2 WEEKS BEFORE START DATE. ACDMY sessions are initially open to two adjacent levels (e.g., High Intermediate AND Advanced). However, sessions will run as one single level, not a mixed-level group. The final level (High Int Or Advanced) will be determined based on registrant availability and overall level from the pool of players. When signing up, select the level your current level and only register for sessions that include your level. Example: If you’re High Intermediate, you may register for sessions listed as High Intermediate Or Advanced that fit your schedule. We strongly encourage you to register for all eligible sessions that work for you, as this increases your chances of placement. You will not be charged for multiple ACDMYs. By default, we assume each applicant intends to enroll in one 6-week ACDMY, even if they register for multiple sessions. Registering for multiple eligible sessions simply helps us place you in the best possible group. All registrations are pending review. You will not be charged until your ACDMY session is finalized. Once a group is formed for a specific time slot, we will confirm the class and notify participants of their placement. Approved registrants will be charged 7–14 days before the session start date. If you can no longer attend a session you indicated availability for, PLEASE remove yourself more than 14 days before the start date to avoid being charged. If you’d like to commit to multiple ACDMY sessions simultaneously (e.g., two or three programs running during the same 6-week period), please email [email protected] so we can plan accordingly. Group placement is based on: Your availabilityYour stated skill level Our firsthand experience working with you DUPR score and previous competitive experience Membership Our goal is to place you in the group where you’ll get the most out of the experience - sometimes you're the weakest and sometimes you're the strongest player in your group, but that won't stop you from gaining a lot from the curriculum, drills and coaching staff. ACDMY classes maintain a maximum 4:1 instructor-to-student ratio. Depending on interest for a given level and time slot, classes may include 8 or 12 students with 2 or 3 instructors. Note: Many players take the same ACDMY level more than once. The curriculum evolves based on the group and is not static. Level Descriptions What level should I sign up for? High Intermediate Typical DUPR: 3.3+ You play fast, anticipate well, and capitalize on mistakes. You control pace and direction in dink exchanges You defend speed-ups and transition effectively You attack out of the air when opportunities arise You understand patterns, targeting, and positioning Sign up if: You regularly compete in higher-level open play or leagues and want to sharpen advanced skills and consistency under pressure. Advanced Typical DUPR: 3.6-4.0 You play a disciplined, high-level game. You dictate points through placement, pressure, and patience You handle fast hands exchanges and extended dink battles You value structure, repetition, and high-quality reps Sign up if: You compete at the top of PKLYN High Intermediate or lower half of Advanced Open Play and are focused on refining execution, strategy, and performance. Refund & Cancellation Policy Refunds are available up to 5 days (120 hours) prior to the start of the 6-week academy in the form of account credit (minus credit card fees). There is no prorating for missed sessions. If PKLYN cancels for any reason, participants receive a full refund to original form of payment within 3–5 business days. PKLYN Experienced Beginner OR Intermediate ACDMY This program will run weekly on Mondays for six weeks starting on May 18th. NEW SIGN-UP PROCESS = MUST READ -> ALL REGISTRANTS ARE PENDING APPROVAL. PLACEMENT IS NOT FINALIZED UNTIL 1-2 WEEKS BEFORE START DATE. ACDMY sessions are initially open to two adjacent levels (e.g., Experienced Beginner AND Intermediate). However, sessions will run as one single level, not a mixed-level group. The final level (Exp B or Int) will be determined based on registrant availability and overall level from the pool of players. When signing up, select the level your current level and only register for sessions that include your level. Example: If you’re an Experienced Beginner, you may register for sessions listed as Experienced Beginner / Intermediate that fit your schedule. We strongly encourage you to register for all eligible sessions that work for you, as this increases your chances of placement. You will not be charged for multiple ACDMYs. By default, we assume each applicant intends to enroll in one 6-week ACDMY, even if they register for multiple sessions. Registering for multiple eligible sessions simply helps us place you in the best possible group. All registrations are pending review. You will not be charged until your ACDMY session is finalized. Once a group is formed for a specific time slot, we will confirm the class and notify participants of their placement. Approved registrants will be charged 7–14 days before the session start date. If you can no longer attend a session you indicated availability for, PLEASE remove yourself more than 14 days before the start date to avoid being charged. If you’d like to commit to multiple ACDMY sessions simultaneously (e.g., two or three programs running during the same 6-week period), please email [email protected] so we can plan accordingly. ACDMY placement is based on: Your availability Your stated skill level Our firsthand experience working with you DUPR score and previous competitive experience Membership status Our goal is to place you in the group where you’ll get the most out of the experience - sometimes you're the weakest and sometimes you're the strongest but that won't stop you from gaining a ton from the curriculum, drills and coaching staff. ACDMY classes maintain a maximum 4:1 instructor-to-student ratio. Depending on interest for a given level and time slot, classes may include 8 or 12 students with 2 or 3 instructors. Note: Many players take the same ACDMY level more than once. The curriculum evolves based on the group and is not static. Level Descriptions What level should I sign up for? Experienced Beginner You’re past the basics and ready to build strategy and shot selection. You understand scoring, positioning, and core rules You’re developing consistency on serves, returns, and dinks Volleys, resets, and third shots are still in progress Sign up if: You’ve moved beyond intro classes and feel comfortable in Experienced Beginner or Intermediate open play. Intermediate You play with intention and are developing a complete game. You serve and return with purpose You use the kitchen strategically You can sustain dink rallies and identify attackable balls You’re learning to reset and defend under pressure Sign up if: You’re comfortable in Intermediate open play and want more confidence with drops, volleys, and handling pace-heavy players. Refund & Cancellation Policy Refunds are available up to 5 days (120 hours) prior to the start of the 6-week academy in the form of account credit (minus credit card fees). There is no prorating for missed sessions. If PKLYN cancels for any reason, participants receive a full refund to original form of payment within 3–5 business days. If you cannot attend, you may offer your spot to a friend of similar level. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged in full.

Class Description: This Class works on sharpening Agility Balance Control, stroke production, drills, and playing strategies. Skill Requirements: Ability to hit a forehand with some accuracy and consistency. Typically avoids backhand or lacks control of backhand. Has some consistency but lacks accuracy with serves. Able to sustain short dink rallies but has limited control of height or depth. Will sometimes hit a 3rd shot drop but mostly hits a medium paced drive. Volleys medium paced shots but needs more accuracy and control. Knows proper court positioning and scoring. Is able to differentiate between the soft and hard game and trying to implement that into their play. Ages: 12-15
